About Skyler
Skyler is a long-haired torbie with a kind, trusting spirit. She’s 9 years old and has returned to rescue after stress and uncertainty in a previous home left her needing a fresh start. Overgrooming was a sign that life got too overwhelming for her, but with the right environment, she’s come back into her own. These days, Skyler is noticeably more relaxed and craves gentle affection—she will happily nudge you with a paw for more head scratches whenever she settles in with someone she trusts. She needs a home that’s calm and low-key, ideally as an only cat or possibly with one mellow feline companion who won’t intrude on her space. Stressful situations cause her to overgroom again, so peace is essential for her well-being. Despite her age, there’s a steady energy to Skyler—she brings comfort, warmth, and quiet love wherever she lands. Skyler is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and stays up to date on deworming and flea control. What she needs most now is a place to feel safe, cherished, and valued for all her gentle affection. In return, she’ll offer her whole heart and loyal companionship to whoever gives her a chance. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
