Meet Cinder, a 2 year old 16 lb Pug mix with the cutest floppy ears. This brave little mama has quite the story to tell. Found surviving on the streets within a homeless encampment with her seven tiny pups in tow, Cinder kept her fire burning strong until help arrived. Thankfully, she and her babies were surrendered to a kind good samaritan who reached out to Lovebugs Rescue, giving this deserving family a second chance. Cinder has been an incredible, devoted mama—protective, nurturing, and resilient through it all. Now that her puppies are growing up, it’s finally her turn to be cared for, cherished, and loved. At first meet, Cinder may come across a little shy and reserved, but don’t let that fool you—her curiosity always wins. She’ll gently come in for a sniff inspection, and with a few tasty treats, you’ll quickly earn her trust. Before you know it, she’ll be hopping right into your lap, ready for affection and bonding. This girl has some spark, too! Cinder is athletic and surprisingly agile—she can leap onto higher surfaces with ease (tables are a favorite perch for keeping an eye on her world). She’s learning the comforts of indoor living and is doing wonderfully settling into a routine, including making great progress with her potty training. Cinder is ready to leave her survival days behind and step into a life filled with warmth, safety, and love. All she needs now is a forever home to keep her fire glowing bright.
