Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in, scooping them up and taking them straight to a local veterinarian in hopes that someone was missing them dearly. Sadly, there was no ID and no microchip—no clues to where Betsy came from or how she ended up on her own. But what could have been the end of her story turned into a brand-new beginning. The family who found Betsy opened their hearts and home to her, keeping her safe while making sure she received the care she needed. Betsy is about 5 years, fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed—and through it all, she showed everyone exactly who she is: a low-key, easygoing sweetheart who simply enjoys the quiet comforts of life. She loves basking in the sunshine, soaking up warm rays during a peaceful sunbath, and she’s perfectly content just being near her people.
