About Duchess
Duchess is a young Rough Collie mix with a calm confidence and a gentle heart. True to her name, Duchess carries herself with an easy grace. Her medium coat, soft and beautiful in shades of black, white, and cream, catches the light, but it’s her warm, expressive eyes and quiet demeanor that really draw people in. Duchess is still young and alive with curiosity—she explores the world with playful interest and is quickly picking up on new things. She loves being near her people, whether it’s nestled by your feet or out for a quiet walk. Duchess has a notably affectionate personality and responds well to encouragement. Like most Collies, she’s smart and attentive, making her quick to learn and eager to please. She’s not yet house trained, so a little patience and positive reinforcement will set her up for success. Duchess has been spayed and is fully vaccinated, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella; she's also heartworm negative and has been dewormed. She will do best in a home that can give her gentle guidance, a bit of adventure, and plenty of love. Duchess is ready to grow into a devoted family companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
