Hi there... I'm Sunny ☀️🐾 I'm a 3-year-old Collie mix, about 35 pounds, with a soft tan and white coat and the gentlest heart you'll ever meet. People say my name fits me perfectly--and I think they're right, because I try to bring a little sunshine wherever I go. 🤍Before I came to the shelter, I had quite the journey. I was found very skinny with my 8 newborn puppies, and a kind woman took us in so we wouldn't have to struggle anymore. She cared for us until the shelter could help, and thanks to her love (and a lot of good meals), I'm healthy and happy again. All of my babies have found their forever homes... now I'm just waiting for mine. 💕I'm a gentle, well-mannered girl who truly loves everyone--kids, adults, the elderly... you name it. I get along wonderfully with other dogs and even like cats, too! I have a soft, kind nature and always try to be polite and respectful. 🐶🐱I walk nicely on a leash and don't pull much at all. I load into a car with a little help, and once I'm in, I ride like a dream--usually curled up beside you, watching the world go by or resting my head in your lap. 🚗 Because of my rough start, I can be a little shy in new places or with new people at first. I just need a bit of reassurance and patience while I settle in--but once I feel safe, my sweet personality really shines through. 💗I'm fully house trained, crate trained, and know how to use a doggie door. I'm also a smart girl--very eager to please and a great listener, which makes training easy. True to my Collie roots, I'm athletic and energetic. I love to run, play, and would make an amazing companion for hikes, walks, or outdoor adventures. 🌿🏃‍♀️More than anything, I just want a family to love me the way I'll love them--with my whole heart.
