Zilla is a beautiful little black kitten with a playful spirit and a touch of shyness that only makes her more endearing. At first, she may hang back and observe, but it doesn’t take long before her curiosity wins—and when it does, her fun-loving personality shines. She loves to climb, wrestle, and explore every corner of her world. She’s always ready for an adventure, especially if it involves playtime with her siblings or a new spot to conquer. Zilla is fully litter box trained and happily drinks her water from a bowl like a pro. One of her sweetest traits is how she greets her foster mom—whenever she enters the room, Zilla comes out to say hello and quickly climbs all over her, soaking up attention and giving affection in her own adorable way. Zilla is a perfect mix of sweet and silly, with just enough shyness to make watching her blossom even more special. With a little patience and love, she’ll come out of her shell and become a loyal, playful companion full of personality and charm. Zilla is available for pre-adoption only at this time. That means that she still has some remaining vet visits to finish her kitten vaccines and to get spayed. You can adopt her now, but you will have to take her to our vet in Somerville for her remaining appointments. Zilla's date of birth is 03/15/2026. All FCAR adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on all vaccines, negative for FIV/Feline Leukemia, on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, microchipped, and come with a 30-day pet health guarantee. (Local adoptions only.) The adoption fee is $95 with an approved application. A home inspection is required prior to all cat adoptions. Our goal is to find loving homes for all our rescued animals. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home.
