Meet Joy! A little lady with big blue eyes and an even bigger personality. Joy is a petite sweetheart with striking blue eyes and tortie swirls on her tail and paws. At first, she’s shy, but if you give her a little time and space, she’ll warm up. Once Joy warms up, she becomes your little shadow. If she’s not napping in her window hammock or curled up in a box, she’ll trot to the door to greet you and inspect whatever treasures you’ve brought home. She’s independent by nature and she’ll come to you when she wants affection- but when she does, she gives it wholeheartedly. She doesn’t love being picked up, but she more than makes up for it with her signature move: the dramatic side flop, inviting you to give her belly rubs and pets. Joy has a silly streak too. Her zoomies usually kick in when she wakes up, and she’ll chatter excitedly at her toys and bat around anything small enough to swat. During the day, she’s content to lounge, bird‑watch, or enjoy a good brushing session. She’s a laser‑pointer enthusiast and a connoisseur of tiny toys she can chase across the floor. Joy gets along well with other cats and would do well in a calm home with a person who is happy to relax, play, and have a quiet, sweet companion. Joy was born 12/15/2024.
