Oreo has been in foster care with his sisters Bellinger and Wolfy. They have been enjoying their stay, but they're getting ready for the last leg of their journey: adoption! They all gave the resident adult cats the paws up, so if you already have a feline friend, any of these kittens will probably do well, with a slow introduction. Oreo is very affectionate and loves to be with you. He is very opinionated, especially when it's time for food and any time he requests attention! If you're looking to adopt multiple kittens, Oreo's litter mates would be a good match. Why not double--or triple--your fun? Ready to Adopt a Kitten? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available kittens in the shelter. (Kittens in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT SIGHT UNSEEN If you're ready to adopt without meeting the kitten first, we can help over the phone or by email. Kittens are adopted on a first come, first served basis, and we're not able to place holds on them. All kitten adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age) -current on distemper vaccines (will need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
