However, many FIV+ cats live long, happy, and healthy lives with proper care, regular veterinary check-ups, and a safe indoor environment. Importantly, FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, meaning that calm, non-aggressive cats like Dottie can often safely live with other friendly cats. She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations, ensuring she is fully prepared for adoption.
