Meet HOLLY N. – Lap Loving Lady! Holly is a lovely young adult tabby with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. She may be a little shy at first, but underneath that gentle demeanor is a cat who absolutely adores people. Once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality really shines. One of our volunteers spent time sitting on the floor with Holly, holding her in her lap and arms, and Holly was in total heaven — rolling around happily, soaking up the attention, and showing just how loving and people-oriented she is. She’s truly a happy-go-lucky girl who just wants to feel safe, loved, and close to her humans. Holly would do best with someone kind and patient who will give her a little time to settle in and let her blossom. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit and video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
