Hi there! My name is Howie and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a slightly older gentleman (emphasis on gentle) looking for someone who matches my easygoing energy. I like to take things slow, but I still have a little pep in my step and enjoy a good scurry now and then. I'm playful (when the mood strikes) and love dancing around with other dogs my size. I'm also a big fan of cozy time-lounging in bed, soaking up affection, and spending quality time with my favorite people. Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
