At just under a year old, she’s in the prime of her "puppyhood," discovering the world one cautious step at a time. Sheilah is the perfect blend of her breeds: she has the high-octane energy of a Heeler/Cattle Dog and the alert, loyal nature of a Pinscher. The Shy Sweetheart: She takes a moment to warm up to new faces and environments. She’s looking for a patient human who understands that "slow and steady" wins her heart. The Zoomie Queen: Once she feels safe, get ready! She has a "pro-athlete" energy level and loves to run, play, and burn off steam in the backyard. Sheilah is a work in progress and is currently enrolled in "Life Skills 101." She’s looking for a family who will continue her education in the following areas: Potty Training: She’s getting the hang of it! She just needs a consistent schedule and a little positive reinforcement. Crate Training: She’s learning that her crate is a safe, cozy den for naps and nighttime. Leash Manners: The big wide world can be a bit spooky, so she’s practicing walking confidently on a leash without getting overwhelmed. Sheilah would thrive in a home that balances adventure with routine. An active lifestyle: She needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep her happy. Patience & Love: Since she’s a bit shy, a calm environment where she can build confidence at her own pace is a must.
