Say hello to Belmont, a 3.5-month-old, 13 pound (4/7 ) Terrier mix who somehow manages to be both a playful puppy and a chill cuddle buddy all in one adorable package. Belmont is the best of both worlds—he’s got that fun, bouncy puppy energy when it’s time to play (and he is obsessed with toys), but he also knows how to settle in for some serious snuggles. In fact, cuddling might just be his favorite hobby. He absolutely loves other dogs and is happiest when he has a buddy to wrestle and romp around with—especially his sister. Watching him play is pure joy, and when the fun winds down, he’s usually curled up right next to his favorite friend (human or furry). Belmont can be a little shy at first when meeting new people, but give him a minute and he’ll be wiggling his way over, ready to say hello and soak up all the pets (his other favorite thing). He’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and easygoing—just a really good boy. He’s puppy pad trained (still a work in progress) and will need continued guidance as he learns where to go—right now he sometimes mistakes carpets for pads (oops!). He’s also learning his manners around food—he loves to eat (especially treats) and may try to sneak a bite of a sibling’s meal if given the chance. Belmont knows “sit,” travels well, and is still figuring out the leash and the big wide world. He was a little unsure about the outdoors at first, but now he’s really starting to enjoy it.
