About Gordo

Gordo started his rescue journey as a shy guy, but he's come bursting out of his shell. He arrived unsure and wary, but with time, patience, and a safe space, he’s become an affectionate, kiss-loving, friendly little companion. Adjusting from life as a stray to bouncing between shelter and rescue wasn’t simple, but Gordo now greets both people and dogs with a wag and a bright face. He’s happy to see everyone and warms up quickly, though he might need a bit more time with new faces at first. Gordo does great with other dogs and gets along with cats and children. While he isn’t fully house trained yet, and the leash is still a work in progress, he tolerates his crate without fuss. Weighing in at just 14 pounds, he’s a sweet little dog searching for a calm, loving home where he can keep growing more confident every day. Gordo would fit best with someone looking for a smaller companion who enjoys affection and the little joys of dog life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
