About Gladys
Gladys is a young German Shepherd on the hunt for a purpose and a companion. At just a year old, she comes with plenty of energy and a sharp mind that needs real engagement every day. Gladys thrives on structure, regular activity, and connection with her person. She’s happiest in a home where someone is around more often than not or is willing to take her along for the ride. Crating isn't her thing—she’s struggled with it—so she needs adopters prepared to work with her quirks, not against them. Outdoors, Gladys comes alive exploring new places. She genuinely enjoys playtime with other dogs, always ready for the next adventure. At heart, she’s a sweet, clever dog who just needed the right guidance to start making sense of the big world around her. She recently finished a three-week board and train with South River Canine and did great—her trainer, Paige, is happy to meet with her new family to keep everyone on track. Gladys is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up to date with all preventatives. She’s in Painesville, OH, and applicants should be within an hour's drive of Cleveland. Gladys is ready for a home that understands what an active, intelligent dog needs. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
