About Spencer
Spencer is a gentle, three-legged Pit Bull mix with a big heart and a remarkable will to keep moving forward. Nobody knows the story behind his missing front leg, but it hasn't stopped him from savoring life. He doesn't demand much—short walks, a comfy spot to rest, belly rubs, and the occasional treat are all it takes to win him over. Spencer is easy to handle and appreciates help getting into beds or up on tables. His leash manners are solid, but he tends to tire quickly, which suits his mellow nature. While human company doesn't faze him, he sometimes seems a bit bewildered, still adapting and learning that he’s safe. In his foster home, Spencer has fit in well with both dogs and cats. After what he's been through, it's impressive—he remains sweet and open to kindness. Born April 8, Spencer is an Aries—no surprise he’s persevered through hard times. Ready to fall in love?
