Benito “Benny” is a SUPER SOFT, (like a bunny!) kitten who had a rough start in life, which left him quite fearful of people. After a couple of months in his foster home, he has made incredible progress. He now trusts and loves his foster mom and dad and has accepted other family members as well, but he is still a work in progress. Benny is still fearful of new people, and in new situations. He needs a calm, predictable and stable home. Benny absolutely adores other cats and thrives in their company. He loves to play, chase, and wrestle and cuddle with them. He truly gets a lot of comfort and confidence from other cats. Because of this, he MUST be adopted into a home with another friendly, playful, confident, young cat. One that will be patient with him and one who will not mind his kitten shenanigans. He’s made great friends with the resident cats in his foster home. He’s everyone’s best friend. He will make a wonderful companion for a solo cat in need of a buddy. Benny will do best with an experienced cat owner who understands shy kittens. He needs a very patient, calm home where someone is around often and committed to giving him the time, consistency, and space he needs to feel safe. He is not a quick-to-adjust kitten and may take a significant amount of time to fully settle in - BUT HE IS WORTH IT! Gaining Benny’s trust and watching him settle in and bloom in his new home will be an incredibly rewarding experience for the right person. If you have the time and are willing to invest yourself and give this little guy the home and life he deserves PLEASE apply! His foster mom would love to see him get settled in a new home before he gets much older. Currently, Benny is 4 months old. Benny is not the right fit for someone looking for an easy, outgoing kitten, but for the right person willing to invest the time and patience, he will be a truly special companion. Benny loves to be pet and he LOVES lickable treats. He gives head the best head bops and eye kisses and has the softest little meow. He is a sweetheart once he lets his guard down. We are incredibly proud of and we simply adore the kitten he has become! Benny is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, has tested negative for FIV/FELV and is neutered.
