About Balinese Cats

Balinese cats are essentially long-haired Siamese, combining the same striking color points and vivid blue eyes with a flowing, silky coat. Named not for Bali but for the graceful Balinese dancers their movements resemble, these cats are elegant, athletic, and just as vocal and social as their Siamese cousins.

Adopting a Balinese means gaining a talkative, deeply affectionate companion who wants to be your constant shadow. They are highly intelligent, love interactive play and puzzle toys, and form strong bonds with their families. Despite their luxurious coat, they shed less than many long-haired breeds, making them a beautiful and relatively low-maintenance choice.
