Meet GABE, a cutie patootie chi mix. He has a personality that will melt your heart. This little boy had a rough beginning but isn't letting it get him down. He was abandoned in an apartment to fight off the rats for any food and water available. He is about 2 years old, recently neutered and vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm and is now on monthly preventative. He seems to be good with other friendly dogs his size. Children will need to be older, 8-10 and older. Due to his size we won't let him go to a home with small children. He's a little shy at first, but if you give him a chance once he's warmed up to you he loves to cuddle!! He loves to play and loves his toys! He apparently was never taken outside - he's not leash trained but we're working on it. He's still pretty insecure about being outdoors, it's just going to take a little patience.
