About Taco
Taco is a tiny, senior Chihuahua who doesn’t let his small size slow him down. At just 6.5 pounds, he’ll try to act like a little guard dog from behind the fence, but up close, he lights up with constant tail wags and endless affection. He’s all about lap time and gladly trades kisses for attention. Even though he’s well past his puppy days, Taco’s love for people hasn’t faded a bit. Because he’s a delicate older guy, homes with young kids aren’t ideal—Taco is better suited to families with gentle, older children who understand small dogs. He does well with other dogs and cats, and his soft, social nature is clear to anyone who meets him. Bonus points if you have room for him and his brother, Budda, since they’re a bonded pair who recently lost their owner. Taco prefers cozy laps and quiet company over chaos, and he’s happy to hang with calm pets and affectionate humans. He is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, up-to-date on all core vaccines, and current on monthly preventatives. If you need a loyal lap companion with plenty of love to give, Taco is ready for his next chapter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
