Meet Barkley Barkley is a 47‑pound male Lab/Hound mix bursting with exuberance for life and affection for everyone he meets. He truly never meets a stranger and loves people of all ages, making friends wherever he goes. This happy guy has champion‑level zoomies and enjoys getting his energy out, but he’s also great at switching gears. After some activity, Barkley is more than ready to settle in for plenty of pets and enthusiastic noggin rubs. He has a wonderful balance of playful energy and affectionate calm. Barkley would make an excellent family dog for an active, loving household. He does need a home without cats, as he is not compatible with feline friends. With the right family, Barkley is ready to bring endless joy, laughter, and love into his forever home. Adoption fee is waived for adopters picking him up locally from the rescue.
