Samoa, a 2-year-old Pug mix, brings the playful energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of goofiness to the pair. Sequoia, a 10-year-old Chihuahua, is his steady counterpart -- a gentle, wise little gentleman who prefers to take life at a slower, more thoughtful pace. Together, they balance each other perfectly. When they first arrived, both were understandably scared and unsure. But with time, patience, and a little love, their true personalities have blossomed beautifully. Samoa has become a happy, affectionate boy who looks to Sequoia for reassurance, while Sequoia has gained confidence with Samoa by his side, showing off his sweet and loyal nature. We did try to separate them initially to give them individual adoption opportunities--but it quickly became clear that wasn't what they wanted. These two lean on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship. Where one goes, the other follows. They're a package deal in the best possible way. They're now looking for a home that will embrace them both -- a family who understands the beauty of their bond and is ready to welcome double the love, double the snuggles, and double the joy.
