About Brisbane Sweet Boy
Brisbane is a gentle, soulful three-year-old with puppy eyes and velvety ears. A medium-sized Plott Hound and Tennessee Treeing Brindle mix, he’s thriving after arriving underweight and has blossomed in his foster home. Nicknamed "Goose" for his silly, lovable antics, Brisbane is food-motivated but always shows patience and respect at mealtimes. He bonds quickly, adores treats, and will give you that unmissable "I love you" gaze. During walks, he starts out with a bounce in his step and quickly settles, responding well to gentle reminders and basic commands. Brisbane is house-trained, appreciates routine, and enjoys cozy naps where his little snore comes out. He’s especially fond of curling up indoors with his people or sinking into his fluffy bed. He gets along with other dogs and cats, and does well with older children, though hasn’t spent much time around younger kids. Brisbane is a car ride enthusiast—spot the car door open and he’s ready for an adventure, happy to relax quietly in the back seat. With kindness, consistency, and patience, this sweet boy will keep showing all the ways he’s a “good boy.” Give him a chance and Brisbane could be the brindle-hearted friend you’ve been searching for.
