About Jax
Meet Jax and his sister Millie, a bonded sibling pair who have seen a lot in their short lives. Rescued with their mother after being found starving, both have settled into foster care and shown just how tough—and sweet—they can be. Jax is an orange and white boy on the reserved side, needing a home with patience and understanding, especially after spending over six months in the same foster home. He isn’t interested in being picked up, but he enjoys quiet attention and will reward you with his best conversation when food or treats are involved. Jax and Millie are ready for a quiet, calm environment without small children, where their adopters are willing to move at their pace and nurture the deep bond they share. They’ve successfully lived with mellow, small dogs and could thrive with similar gentle companions. These two bring a lot of hope and heart—just waiting for someone to give them a loving forever home. Jax is a Cancer, so expect some extra sensitivity and loyalty from him. What are you waiting for? Questions about Jax
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Domestic short hair cats like Jax typically adapt well to a variety of living situations, but they thrive in stable, low-stress environments. Apartment or house settings can both work as long as there is plenty of love and attention.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Jax, being a domestic short hair, doesn't require outdoor access and is best kept safely indoors. Providing windows to look out of or safe indoor play areas will keep him content.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While many domestic short hairs are comfortable with children, Jax is seeking a home without small children, as he does better with a quieter, more patient environment where he can feel safe.
