Meet tough guy Irving! This big guy was brought in as a stray and is now looking for his forever home. Irving can be very timid and nervous of people due to his lack of human interaction, but we believe that with a slow hand movements and proper love he will learn to show his true colors. The most important thing for Irving is he needs to feel safe in his environment. He can be affectionate with enough time; he just needs a patient owner who will give him the time to adjust. Irving does have FIV, and although this may seem scary, he can live a perfectly normal cat life with the proper care. The main things you need to know is that FIV+ cats can live long happy lives as long as they are well cared for and get vet treatment promptly when needed. There are key things you can do for your FIV+ cat to ensure they have the best chance at an otherwise healthy life. He would do well with other FIV + cats.
