Hi! My name is Merry, I am a mostly brown long-haired Tortoise Shell. In May, my mom made the difficult decision to give me to A2A when our housing situation became unsafe for me. I am about 4 years old and am a real cuddle bug! I am fantastic with dogs and warm up to them quickly after I set up boundaries. I take longer to warm up to cats, but I am willing to try, I am good at listening to other cat’s boundaries too. I like playing with a fishing pole toy in short bursts and love when my foster mom lets me “catch” my butterfly! I also like my kibble now that I am used to it and prefer to drink water from a fountain that does not hold a pool at the bottom. I like to fall asleep next to my foster mom and put my nose in her face for kisses but I don’t want them if I am not asking. I like it when my paw is gently rubbed at night before I fall asleep but my front left paw hurts in the morning. I am trying to lose weight and having my daily kibble portion split into 4 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and before bed) helps me not get hungry between meals.
