About Sherwood
Sherwood is part of a remarkable bonded pair, alongside his companion Augustine, though each cat is worth meeting on their own terms. Estimated at about 2â3 years old, Sherwood has been through more than most but greets every challenge with patience and trust. He once arrived with a serious neck woundâa bite gone badâbut his recovery revealed just how resilient he is. Heâs FIV positive, yet that hardly slows him down; with regular care, Sherwood can live a full, healthy life and gets along perfectly fine with fellow cats. He doesnât leap into arms right away, but if youâre patient, youâll soon have him leaning in for chin scratches and gentle attention. Sherwood is soft-hearted and steady, drawn to the company of other gentle cats. His black and silver tabby coat is short and easy to care for. While adoption as a duo with Augustine would be ideal, their rescuers will consider placing them individually with the right adopter, especially in homes with other friendly cats. Sherwood is looking for a place where his gentle nature can finally flourish. Start your journey together! Apply now.
