Sassafras was sadly left behind when his people moved away. For weeks, he braved the cold winter days on his own until a kind neighbor noticed him and spent an entire month patiently earning his trust. Thanks to that compassion, Sassafras is now safe, warm, and well fed — and his true personality has fully blossomed. He is one of the sweetest, friendliest boys you could hope to meet. Sassafras loves attention and is happy to soak up pets and affection. After everything he’s been through, he truly appreciates the comfort of being indoors and cared for. We estimate Sassafras is around 2 years old, and he does wonderfully with other cats. He’s ready to leave his outdoor survival days behind and settle into a loving home where he will never be forgotten again.
