About Dakota
A5761478 Meet Dakota , a 4-year-old Pitbull/Boxer mix with the most charming smooshy face - complete with squishable wrinkles, soft folds, and the cutest lightly freckled ears. This sweet girl has clearly been a mama before, but now it’s her turn to be spoiled and showered with love. Dakota is super friendly and outgoing, always eager to meet new people - sometimes with so much excitement she might accidentally plow into you for a hello! Because of her size and enthusiasm, she could use a little refresher on leash walking and polite greetings, but she’s very treat-motivated and ready to learn. She absolutely lives for booty scratches and back scritches, happily soaking up every bit of affection you give. If you’re looking for a loving, goofy, and affectionate companion, Dakota is ready to be your girl! -4 year old tan and white Pitbull/Boxer mix -72 pound spayed female -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 3/11/26 as a stray -absolute cutie, with a big, enthusiastic personality - she will definitely win you over with her charm! -a bigger girl, with heaps of energy and excitement, so could brush up on her manners and leash skills to be her best self - should be a breeze with plenty of yummy treats! -loves any and all affection you direct her way, but especially back and booty scritches https://youtube.com/shorts/Cc-AYnmHSOo For more information, contact volunteer Lor at lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org Look up this or other animals at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center https://animalcare.lacounty.gov/view-our-animals/ Use their unique ID NUMBER.
