Shadow may have had a rocky start, but you'd never guess it from how much love he has to give. After being passed around early in life, he landed at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control, where he was evaluated and given the care he needed. Now safe in a foster home, he's ready to find someone who sees just how special he is. Shadow is incredibly cuddly, curious, and people-oriented. His favorite place is right in your lap, soaking up attention while he figures out the world around him. He's also learning that dogs and other cats aren't so scary after all, and with a little time, he continues to grow more confident every day. Shadow does have some neurological quirks, likely from either a past injury or toxin exposure. He's been medically cleared and is otherwise healthy, but he is a bit wobbly and has some unique habits: His depth perception is a little off, which honestly just adds to his charm (watching him play is adorable) He may use his claws gently to stabilize himself when climbing He's currently working on litter box habits for pooping, though he pees in the box like a champ Because of this, Shadow will need an adopter who is patient, understanding, and open to a slightly "different" kitten. In return, you'll get a deeply affectionate companion who doesn't let anything stop him from loving life. Shadow isn't perfect-and that's exactly what makes him so easy to fall in love with.
