Hi! My name is River, and I’m a 9-month-old 40 lb Lab/Pit mix. I’m a super friendly, affectionate pup who absolutely loves to give hugs and be close to my people. I got to attend a busy adoption event recently and I behaved wonderfully! When it’s time to play, I’m a big fan of stuffed bones and dog toys — especially the stuffed ones I can proudly tear apart (it’s my specialty!). Having lots of appropriate toys will help keep me happy and entertained. I’m already doing great with both potty training and crate training, and I continue to do best with a consistent routine and positive reinforcement as I grow into the amazing adult dog I’m going to be.
