About Alligator
Alligator came to the rescue under unique circumstances and is now looking for the right home to call his own. At first, he can be timid and a little wary of strangers, but once trust is built, Alligator flips into an easygoing, loving companion. He’s mellow in the house and lives for affection, happiest rolling on the carpet or soaking up belly rubs. Volunteers who’ve taken him out on day trips say he settles quickly, shows minimal reaction to new people, and enjoys being out and about as long as he feels secure. Alligator does best as the only dog in the home. He seems quite content to ignore other dogs at a distance and is most interested in people. His sweet temperament makes him a good fit for families with kids over six. He’s neutered, microchipped, and has his vaccines up to date, so he’s ready to join a new household safely. Alligator just needs someone willing to give him a little patience in the beginning so he can become the loyal sidekick he’s meant to be.
