About Topo Chico
Topo Chico is a 6-month-old tabby with a story that’s hard to forget. He was first spotted pouncing on bugs in a busy parking lot while bravely managing life with severely infected, blind eyes. After a rocky start, Topo was rescued and given the time and care to recover in a safe foster home. Slowly, he’s been learning that not all humans are scary, and mealtimes can come without effort or worry. He’s searching for an adopter with experience—someone who understands the daily needs and quirks of a blind cat and can give him structure, patience, and security. Topo Chico is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and house trained. He’s proven himself a survivor and is starting to warm up, showing sparks of trust and quiet confidence as he explores with his other senses. Topo gets along with both cats and dogs, and he’s looking for someone to help him enjoy a safe and easy life indoors—no more insect hunting or fending for himself. He’s got plenty of heart and grit and just needs the right teammate to help him settle into the easy life. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
