About Zoe
Zoe is young, funny without trying, and has a quirky bonus toenail on her back right legâa certified "good girl" with plenty of personality. Sheâs a champion at sniffing dog butts, believes all squirrels and pigeons should be chased, and will nap with you at every opportunity. Stranger soccer balls are fair game; peanut butter is her love language, especially if there might be a pill involved. She lives for affectionate moments in the form of âhug sandwichesâ and checks in via FaceTime with her best dachshund buddy. Zoe skips sidewalk grates, despises car rides (prepare for epic car sickness), and prefers not to wear a harnessâsheâll make you work for it with some dramatic avoidance, but she always gives in. Elevators completely confuse her, but she handles her anxieties with curiosity, not fear. Sudden head touches arenât her thing until trust is built, and while she gets along great with older kids, high energy can sometimes overwhelm her. At heart, Zoe is awkward-cute, a little shy on day one, and always eager to be your shadowâright down to supervising your bathroom breaks. She does well with other dogs and expects them to say hello, voicing her disappointment if ignored. Sheâll sometimes eat mysteries from the sidewalk but surrenders them without a fuss. With patience and slow introductions, she thrives and will quickly claim a piece of your heart. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
