Hi there! I’m Mars—and if you’re looking for a big-hearted best friend, I might just be your guy. Some people think I’m a Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix, but what I know for sure is that I’m about 4 years old and 97 lbs of pure love. I’m all about my people and love everyone I meet. If you’ve got attention to give, I’m ready to soak it up! I’m house trained, sort of crate trained (I’ll be honest, I might chat a little when I’m in there, I'd rather hang out on your sofa or bed), and I know my basic obedience skills. I’ve lived with both big and small dogs and enjoy getting out for walks and adventures. Cats? I’m not sure—I haven’t really met any yet. I do have a bit of a funky leg from an old injury, but don’t worry—it doesn’t slow me down at all! I’ve been checked out by a top orthopedic surgeon, and while I’m not a candidate for surgery, I get around just fine and live a happy, active life. My dream home? Definitely one with a yard where I can stretch out and enjoy the fresh air. Because I’m a big guy (did I mention that?), I’d do best with older, sturdy kids or teens who can keep up with me.
