About Nico
Nico is a wonderful 15-year-old Domestic Short Hair, and she truly deserves a cozy home to enjoy her golden years. After spending much of her life on the streets, she was adopted but sadly found herself back in need of help, appearing on her foster mom's porch—50 miles away from where she was originally adopted. Despite her past, Nico is an affectionate companion who thrives on cuddles and quiet togetherness. She loves being held, brushed, and especially enjoys relaxing on laps. While she isn’t as playful as she once was, a little catnip can still coax her into some fun. It's important to note that Nico has some sensitivity due to her experiences. She has strong boundaries and may hiss or give a gentle bop to communicate when she feels overwhelmed. She will need an owner who understands her need for space and is willing to respect her signals. Nico has shown she can be friendly with small dogs and enjoys the company of people, but she does not get along with other cats, preferring to be the solo queen of her home. Currently in good health, she recently had a dental cleaning but will likely need another one down the road. Nico is fully vaccinated, spayed, and house trained, ready to settle down in a loving, understanding environment.
