About Honey
Meet Honey, a sweet and adventurous pup who truly lives up to her name. She's always ready for whatever the day brings, whether it's a walk, playtime with her favorite canine friends, or cuddling up with her people. Honey is affectionate and has a warm, friendly nature, seeming to love everyone and everything she meets. Her easygoing and social personality makes her a joy to be around in any setting. Honey is ready to bring love, fun, and companionship to her future home. Honey is a 1 year Anatolian Shepherd mix. This animal is coming up on a transport to the NYC Area Friday, April 24th and is looking for a foster home to go into. There are multiple shelters down south that are overcrowded and Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue partners with these shelters to move the animals into foster homes in the North East before they are adopted into their forever family homes. What does it mean to be a foster? The first, and most important, responsibility is to provide a caring and safe home environment. There are some very specific guidelines that we will share with you that will keep everyone safe and healthy. From basic food and water, quarantine periods, and where you can or cannot take your foster, our Foster Handbook and Foster Mentors are fantastic resources. Depending on what type of animal you're fostering, you'll need some things in advance. These items may include a crate, puppy pads, or food and water bowls but we have a large foster network that helps share supplies! Louie's Legacy will pay for full vetting, spay or neuter surgery, and all approved medical or behavioral treatments. By fostering a dog or cat...YOU are MAKING a DIFFERENCE! Every pet deserves saving! Let's not leave any behind! Apply to foster today! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/LOUE/Dog *Please note that the pet you are interested in may not be available by the time we receive your application. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible and to be open to helping other animals in need.
