About Truffle
Truffle is the total package. At three years old and under 60 pounds, he’s a brown and white, neutered pittie who has worked hard to become a fantastic companion. He arrived as a stray back in March 2025, a little wild with more energy than manners, but with consistent support from shelter staff, volunteers, and trainers, Truffle transformed quickly. He’s mastered obedience commands, walks politely on leash, and is fully crate and house trained—even in a shelter environment. Truffle excelled at a local training and boarding facility, seamlessly joining playgroups and participating in outings. He’s also thrived in a traditional foster home, showing he’s both adaptable and happy as part of a real household. He gets along well with other dogs, responds to structure, and genuinely wants to please. Despite his clear improvement and loving personality, he’s been overlooked for over a year now. Truffle is smart, affectionate, and ready for a family of his own. He does not get along with cats, but he enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown himself to be a quick learner and a joy to live with.
