About Luna
Luna is a 3-year-old Boxer mix who landed at Homeward Trails after spending her whole life with one family. She’s smart and affectionate, showing off her best cues like sit, down, and shake, and she’ll never turn down some sunbathing or a cuddle on the couch. Luna loves treats and belly rubs, but beware—the vacuum is her nemesis. She’s house trained, uses a crate if needed, and roams comfortably when left alone. Luna needs to be the only dog in her home. While she’s curious about cats and happy to give them respectful space, rambunctious play with dogs at parks or daycares isn’t for her. She wants the company of adults or children over 10 who will let her be the center of attention. If you’ve got quieter weekends and a soft spot for sweet dogs with a playful side, Luna might be your match. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Luna
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Luna, a Boxer/mixed breed, does best in a stable home with space to relax and play. She appreciates a quieter environment where she can bask in attention as the only dog.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Boxer mixes like Luna generally enjoy a yard or regular walks but can adapt to apartment living if they get daily exercise. Luna would love space for occasional sunbathing and play.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Luna will do well in a home with older children—she prefers kids over 10 or adult-only households. Boxer mixes tend to be playful and affectionate but can get overwhelmed by small children.
