About Marley

Marley is a 3-year-old, 65-pound, mixed Plott Hound and American Bulldog who came from a tough situation in North Carolina. Surrendered due to having too many dogs in his former family, Marley brings with him a gentle, sweet nature and an easy-going spirit. He has a warm spot for everyone he meets and has shown he gets along well with children in his previous foster home. He's housebroken, good on a leash, and tolerates his crate, likely to enjoy it more once he completes his heartworm treatment and can work off some pent-up energy. Marley arrived a bit underweight and is heartworm positive, but the rescue is covering his full heartworm treatment. He’s up to date on vaccines and preventatives, microchipped, and will be neutered after treatment is done. Ongoing monthly heartworm prevention will be important for him. If stability, companionship, and a true family member are what you’re seeking, Marley is ready. Click apply to start the adoption process.
