About Poppy
Poppy spent a while living near Kiest Park with her friend Leonard, learning to survive on her own terms. While food wasn’t her motivator, toys were, and with some patience she came around. Poppy’s tested as a Husky, Pit, German Shepherd, and Great Pyrenees mix—she’s about 1.5 years old and weighs 42 pounds. She’s up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and already spayed. Poppy absolutely thrives with other dogs around, showing a playful and goofy side at home, especially when you bring out the toys. She’s shy when meeting people but warms up pretty quickly, knows how to sit, and is crate and house trained. Her energy level lands in the medium zone, and she’s not destructive. Poppy pulls a bit on leash but is actively working on that skill. Her history has made her resilient, and despite her time outdoors, she stays loving and eager for a stable home. Poppy and Leonard are not bonded and can be adopted separately, so you don’t have to take both. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
