Give this deserving senior a warm home, and he’ll give you his whole heart Chewie needs a single-level home due to some vision loss, as too many stairs can be challenging. A few steps in and out of the house are perfectly fine. Special Needs: Visually impaired—appears to be blind in one eye with limited vision (mostly shadows) in the other. May also have occasional age-related cognitive changes typical of a senior dog. Energy level: Low to Medium Favorite things to do: • Being your loyal buddy and constant companion (aka your official armchair co-pilot) • Sticking close by your side wherever you go as he is curious to what is going on • A good game of tuggy and close by fetch (he takes this very seriously) • Walks on the leash—because every outing is an adventure and because he's visually impaired you are his co-pilot.
