meet cricket. She is approx one year old and 17 lbs. She is so stinking cute and has the sweetest, most gentle soul. This little girl absolutely lives for snuggles—her favorite place is curled up in a cozy ball right next to her person. She prefers to nap with company and will happily spend hours lounging, soaking up the sun, or quietly keeping you company. With her calm, well-mannered nature and low energy level, she's the perfect companion for someone looking for a laid-back cuddle buddy. She's not much of a toy player (she's still figuring those out!), but she does enjoy the occasional little zoom around. On walks, she's more interested in affection than adventure—she'll often flop onto her back and wait patiently for belly rubs instead of pulling or jumping. She's quiet overall and only barks occasionally at unfamiliar noises or when someone comes to the door. She gets along well with other dogs and has previously lived with many, but she also seems perfectly content soaking up all the love as a solo pup. While her experience with cats is unknown, she hasn't shown any concerning behaviors. She has met visitors and warms up quickly, greeting them with her signature “roll over for pets” move. Her gentle demeanor suggests she could do well with respectful, calm children. House training is still a work in progress. She's not a fan of wet grass and is still learning that outside is the place to go, though she's making progress. She tends to use the same spot indoors (never carpet), so a routine and possibly puppy pads will help her succeed. She may also do a little “happy tinkle” when greeting you—just part of her sensitive, affectionate personality. She does great when left alone—no destruction, no mischief—just finds a comfy spot and naps until you return. She can be crated but also settles nicely outside of it. While she can be a bit startled by loud or unexpected noises, she recovers quickly and generally warms up easily to new people. This sweet girl is truly a little stuffed animal come to life—gentle, loving, and devoted. She's going to make someone incredibly lucky
