Rosa is a gentle, tender-hearted girl waiting to find her perfect match at the Butte Humane Society. She can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, preferring to take things slow while she gets comfortable in new surroundings. But once she begins to trust you, Rosa truly blossoms into one of the sweetest and most outgoing companions you could ask for. Watching her come out of her shell and show off her happy, affectionate personality is incredibly special. Once she’s feeling confident, Rosa loves being with her people and enjoys every opportunity to spend time outside. Whether she’s exploring on a walk or simply soaking up the fresh air, she’s happiest right by your side. She is very treat-motivated, which makes bonding with her easy (and fun!), and helps her continue building confidence along the way. We believe Rosa may be an Affenpinscher mix, though this is just our best guess. She weighs 27.6 pounds, making her a great medium size for both adventures and relaxing at home. We’re still getting to know Rosa more each day, but she continues to show us glimpses of just how loving, playful, and outgoing she can be. With a patient, kind adopter who will give her the time she needs to feel safe, Rosa is sure to grow into a loyal, joyful, and deeply devoted best friend.
