About Jimmy

Jimmy is part of the Kentucky Boys group. He started life in a breeding environment that offered little kindness, but things have turned around at Big Dog Ranch. For the first time, Jimmy is learning what it means to be safe and wanted. The staff have given him fresh haircuts, needed medical care, and, most importantly, the attention he always deserved. As Jimmy settles in, he's slowly growing more confident each day. He has discovered that people can be gentle and that affection feels good. While he’s still catching up with basics—like walking on a leash—he is making progress. He’s learning to trust and loves being held and cuddled. Jimmy will need an adopter willing to be patient as he adjusts to a new home. He’s grateful for this second chance and will repay kindness with unconditional love. He also gets along with other dogs, so he could do well in a multi-dog home. Jimmy is ready to bring warmth and gratitude to someone who can offer him the same. Start your journey together!
