Meet Roo — your perfect little shadow. Take a peek at her adorable nose which looks like she dipped it into some ink. Roo is a 2-year-old tuxedo kitty with a sweet, affectionate personality and a love for being close to her people. She was found outside in the winter of 2025 with a sprained paw, but she’s fully healed and ready for a cozy home of her own. If you want a true lap cat, then Roo is for you. She is a cuddle bug and will follow you from room to room. She only wants to keep you company, and loves curling up next to you for naps or movie time. She greets you with soft little meows and gentle purrs. Overall she is a quiet, easygoing companion. One of her cutest habits is flopping over to ask for pets. Roo will never turn down attention! She’s playful, curious, and especially loves wet food. The couple who brought Roo in from the cold had both a dog and a cat. Roo was very comfortable with both animals, but unfortunately they did not feel the same way and so she came to AFL. As of yet she has not been around children but her easy going nature and sociability make her likely to thrive in any home.
