About Trixie
Trixie is four years old and the perfect blend of French Bulldog and Boston Terrier—she’s got the good looks and the personality to match. Someone let her down in a big way, and she ended up abandoned in a forest preserve, but a quick-thinking foster stepped in and made sure she was safe. People searched for her old family for months with no luck, so she’s moving on and hoping for a real second chance. Trixie is all about being near her people; she’ll quietly shadow you from room to room just to keep an eye on things. She’s happiest right by your side, eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. She does well with kids and cats, but while she generally gets along with dogs, she really wants to be the only dog in the household so she can soak up all the attention for herself. She’s crate trained and well on her way with house training thanks to a steady routine. Trixie learns fast and seems to enjoy picking up new things, and she’s already polite on a leash. Soon, she’ll be spayed and completely ready for her new home. What this girl wants most is a comfortable place to settle and just be someone’s dog—she’s more than ready to return the favor. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
