About Tucker
Tucker lost his longtime home because his owner became seriously ill and couldn't care for him anymore. Now, at 9 1/2 years old, this small miniature poodle is looking to start over with someone who will give him both patience and plenty of attention. Tucker is already neutered, fully vaccinated, and house trained. He’s also dog friendly and does well with his foster sister, another small poodle mix. Cats and children are no problem for him, either. Despite his age, Tucker still has plenty of pep and enjoys playing with soft toys, going for walks, and exploring outside—so a fenced yard would be a nice bonus. Tucker's coat is naturally curly and suits his sweet, soft personality. He is scheduled for dental work in June, which the rescue will take care of, so you won’t be responsible for that. Tucker gets anxious when left alone, so he’ll do best in a household where someone is around most of the time and can help him regain his confidence. He gravitates toward laps and loves being held, so companionship is a must for this little guy. If you’re in the Media, PA area and can offer a stable, reassuring home, Tucker could be a perfect fit. He needs someone who appreciates his affectionate side and is ready to welcome him as part of the family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
