Meet Bucki This 3.5-year-old fluffy Frenchie is a lovable little shadow with a heart as big as his personality. After spending his early life being used for breeding, Bucki is now discovering what it truly means to be loved—and he’s embracing every second of it. He’s never met a stranger and greets people, dogs, and even cats with pure joy and curiosity. This goofy, affectionate boy loves being near his people and will happily follow you from room to room, making him the ultimate companion. While he enjoys cozy couch cuddles, he really just wants to be wherever you are. Bucki is making great progress on leash walking and continues to improve every day, though he sometimes gets distracted by the excitement of making new friends. He’s still working on potty training and does best with a doggy door and a patient home to help him keep learning. He can live in an apartment but would thrive in a home where someone is around often, as he doesn’t love being left alone and may bark when crated. Despite his fluffy coat, he has minimal shedding and is generally a quiet, easygoing guy. Bucki does have some breathing limitations and may benefit from nares surgery (pending a second opinion), so shorter walks—especially in cooler weather—are best, though he can still enjoy up to a couple of miles when conditions are right.
