Calcifur is a gentle giant who thinks of himself as a lap dog. Calcifer is a playful, energetic pup who would thrive with plenty of exercise and enrichment! Some of his favorite things are fetch, long walks and positive reinforcement training sessions that include lots of treats. Our trainers have been working with Calcifer to help him learn new skills, and he is making great progress, but will do best with a family who can continue his positive reinforcement training. Calcifer loves to be the star of the show and soak up all the love and attention, so he is requesting to be the only pet in his new home. Calcifer has been known to have big feelings around other dogs, so although he may not be a candidate for dog parks or other off-leash venues, there are lots of other activities you can do together to strengthen your bond! Due to Calcifer's high energy levels, he would thrive best in a home without young children (under 14).
